All fireworks are pretty spectacular, but there are some that really have that wow factor. If you’re planning a fireworks display any time soon, here are the 5 crowd-pleasing fireworks you have to include:
1. Rockets. Powerful, noisy and finishing with an impressive burst, rockets are a real show-stopper. No fireworks display is complete without the daddy of all fireworks.
2. Fountain. Whilst not the noisiest fireworks in the world, fountains can be considered one of the most beautiful. They light up the sky with a cascading shower of sparks, which is bound to draw a few gasps of delight from the crowd.
3. Whistling comets. Sometimes, a fireworks display isn’t a fireworks display unless it’s nice and noisy, which is why whistling comets are always so popular. Great fun and really entertaining, kids absolutely love comets.
4. Catherine wheel. It may not be the biggest, loudest or most impressive, but the Catherine wheel is a traditional firework that is always a favourite at birthday parties, weddings and of course, Bonfire Night. There’s a lovely feeling of nostalgia with the spinning flames and sparks of a Catherine wheel, which is why everyone loves it.
5. Sparklers. They may not be ‘proper’ fireworks, but try telling kids that! Children go mad for sparklers, so they’re a must at any fireworks display. Just remember to deliver a few safety lessons (i.e. don’t wave them in anyone’s face, never put them in your pocket etc.) before letting those little ones loose with them.
