22 Days Till Hannover – We’ve Been Busy Prepping!
There is only 22 days to go till we will be competing in Germany at the International Fireworks Competition in Hannover. We can’t wait!
The show has been completed and loaded onto four pallets ready to go to Germany next Tuesday.
Here’s a little snippet into the planning involved to get ready for this big competition.
In total there are 4 pallets with 1.25 tons of fireworks.
It’s taken 28 days to fuse and prepare the show and around 80 hours to design.
It contains:
160 x 65mm shells
321 x 75mm shells
296 x 100mm shells
172 x 125mm shells
138 x 150mm shells
14 x 200mm shells
399 x comets and mines up to 75mm
133 x fountains
28 x cake batteries
276 x 8 shot Roman Candles = 2208 comets
20 x 70 shot Roman Candles = 1400 comets
59 x flame projectors and bengals
6 x Giant Crown Wheels
There will be 16 crew for two days onsite to set up the show, which is 384 man-hours of set up time.
All of the above is for...well over 2500 individual firework ignitions in 23 minutes of sheer firework heaven to beautiful classical music in the gorgeous baroque gardens.
We'll let you know how we get on.
